European Cultural Contact Point Ireland

The European Cultural Contact Point (CCP) Ireland provides information, advice and technical assistance to anyone in Ireland interested in applying to the European Commission for funding under the Culture Programme 2007-2013,

The CCP Ireland aims to facilitate the participation in the programme for the widest number of cultural professionals and operators as possible. We also provide additional information and assistance which might help to establish links and partnerships with colleagues in Europe and beyond.

Cultural Programme 2007–2013

The Culture Programme 2007–2013 is the EU funding programme run by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) for the European Commission.  It was established to enhance the cultural area shared by Europeans, which is based on a common cultural heritage through the development of cooperation activities among cultural operators from 34 eligible countries.

Financial support

The programme provides €400 million in funding to cultural organisations who work in the field of culture. The programme offers three separate funding strands, and supports transnational cooperation projects and literary translation in the arts or heritage field.
